Who are the "Waiting
Children"
In
every country where Children's Hope goes, there
are untold numbers of children waiting, often
languishing for lack of love. They need homes. Some are older and healthy. Some have special
needs. Others are infants with special needs. Their cries are heard only by God -
if we
listen with our hearts, we can hear them
too.
We are not able to publish their photos and
information in the CHI newsletter but it can be
viewed, according to the requirements
of the countries where they live, at
www.CHIfamily.net which is accessible
to families who have an approved application at
CHI.

Popular Phoenix, Arizona television anchor,
Lin Sue Cooney and her family adopted
a little boy from China who was just
“waiting” for them to come. Link here to the

Waiting
Children - Two Paths
There
are two ways to consider adoption of "waiting"
children
1.
Waiting
Children who have been identified on
www.CHIFamily.net.
You must have an approved application or
have adopted through CHI before you can get
access to the Wonderful Waiting Children.
Information
is available on these children from the
beginning. If you should decide to adopt one of
the children whose information is listed you can continue the adoption process
knowing your child is 'waiting' for you and you
will be able to go get him or her as soon as
arrangements can be made.
2. Children are waiting to be adopted in
all countries where CHI works through the
'normal' process but before receiving the
information on the children, you must apply and
then go through the 'normal' waiting process. At
some point when your paperwork has been processed
in the country of your choice you will receive a
referral and only then will you know the name of
'your' child and receive personal information
about them.
